Isn't it sort of passive-aggressive to hint about a correction you've
made on another website, knowing full well that the topic was discussed
rather intensively here?

I guess it's the lovely 'Aussie charm' kicking in ... Ho hum ...

Yes, and the other dozen corrections she prepared for posting are just
further signs of her passivity.

Seems she likes to treat s.g.m. as a sort of shabby step-child to MSG.
She could have posted the gist of the correction here, surely.

Many thanks to Rosie for her continued work in compiling these amendments,
which I'm sure are appreciated by all those who use the Keats-Rohan volumes.

Am I the only one who thinks it's odd that I have to pay to join MSG to
see the corrections, at least one of which was mined from information
on *this* newgroup (presumably) ...?

Just in case anyone believes the peevish statements of Mr Brandon, the
DP and DD corrections are available to all without subscription to the
FMG, (and while I'm flattered to be called an Australian, I live in New
Zealand).

Opps, sorry. I only went to FMG once, when it was first up, and found
the typeface and busy backgrounds offputting.

Not to mention the whiff of snobbery and elitism ...

Dear John ~

I'm afraid I must disagree with your "offputting" criticisms.

I feel the FMG website is quite well done, thank you. Steve Edwards,
the editor of Foundations, is very agreeable. Rosie Bevan's
corrections and amendments of Dr. Keats-Rohan's work are quite
valuable. Everyone connected with FMG should be applauded for
creating a quality website and a topnotch journal.

Best always, Douglas Richardson, Salt Lake City, Utah

I thought it was "Joe" Edwards. Joe, Steve, whatever.

There may be some good stuff in there, but it *does* have a clique-ish
air to it.

But as you say, you've only been to the website once "when it was first up"
(which is more than three years ago), so you are not really qualified to
comment on either aspect.

Of course not, it was just a feeling.

Dear Rosie,
As a non member of FMG I`m well pleased that DD and DP
Additions and Amendments are as easily navigated as is the Index to the
Ancestors of Charles II. Thank You all very much.
Sincerely,
