Who was the 4th Lord Willoughby of Eresby?

Legg inn av Symonds » 04 okt 2005 23:01:02

Magna Carta Ancestry, page 886: Robert de Willoughby 3d Lord Willoughby
of Eresby, son and heir of John Willoughby, 2d Lord Willoughby of
Eresby, married (1st) Margery la Zouche and had son William Willoughby,
5th Lord Willoughby of Eresby, Lincolnshire.

Can anyone give assistance in locating the missing 4th Lord Willoughby
of Eresby, Lincolnshire?

John 3rd; Robert, 4th; Wiliam 5th

Sounds like a typographical error
This corrected numbering is from Leo's database.

The same numbering is given by Complete Peerage vol. 12, part 2, pp.
659-663.

Dear Marilyn,
The Posts in Question are entitled Robert Willoughby`s
alleged wife Alice Skipwith and ran from about June 10 -June 30 and probably
later, 2004. They can be found in the Soc Genealogy Medieval Archives both at
rootsweb and Google.com. At Google you can type in the subject You`re
searching for at the archive site, specify the year You wish to search and get a
list, in this case of some 2300 posts. At Rootsweb`s threaded archive You would
start with say June 2004 and scroll down the list until You locate the thread
in question. There are undoubtedly other versions of the archive as well.
Sincerely,
