Hello, kind people :)

In searching through the genealogy of the ABNEY family of Virginia, I have come across an Isabella DANNETT
(c1529-c1600), wife of William LUDLAM (c1528-1600) , Lord-Mayor of Leicester, and mother of Catherine LUDLAM,
mother of Paul ABNEY. Besides the "fact" she was from Leicestershire, I cannot find anythiong about her family
and ancestry! Does there exist, anywhere, a history of the DANNETTS in Leicestershire?

Thank you,

Kelly Paul Graham

Just a small point - the letters patent permitting the Mayor of
Leicester to use the style of "Lord Mayor" were only granted on 19 July
1928, so any 16th century civic leader would have been "Mayor" only.
