PA addition? Cheseldine pager 202

Under Cheseldine page 202

17. Bridget Raleigh married (as his first wife) John Cope. He married 2nd Mary Mallory, widow of -- NN Cave, and daughter of Nicholas Mallory He married 3rd Margaret Tame

According to Cahiers de Saint Louis, page 992, John Cope married 2nd Margery (not Mary) Malory (they spell Mallory with one l, but then they are French) who was the widow of Clement Cave, (son of Richard Cave and Margartet Saxby). Margery Malory was daughter of Nicholas Malory and Catherine Kingston. And as Catherine Kingston is a descendant of Geoffrey Plantagenet, Count of Anjou, in at least six lines, it could have been indicated as is done in other cases where two Plantagenet lines connect.

FWIW, A R Justice (Ancestry of Jeremy Clarke) gives the name as Richard
Cave.

And DNB "Cave, Ambrose" says his [Ambrose'] parents were ROGER Cave and
Margaret Saxby. This Margaret d Mar 1531/2. This Ambrose b abt 1503
(genealogics) and d 2 Apr 1568 (DNB "Cave, Ambrose")

This *is* the same couple correct? So we have a conflict on the first name
Richard or Roger as well.

I made a typo in a previous reply to one of Leo's additions to RPA. Thanks
to Leo for bringing it to my attention. My previous message should have
read:

Clement Cave died s.p., 30 Nov. 1534 (will dated 25 Nov. 1534 [P.C.C . 23
Hogan]).
