William H Rehnquist and George W. Bush

I just looked at the ancestry of the late CJ Rehnquist, on WARs web page,
http://www.wargs.com/ <http://www.wargs.com/> and
noticed that he descends from Deacon William Peck of New Haven Colony. This
is an ancestry he
shares with President George W. Bush.

A second look seems to indicate he descends from Henry Peck through his
son Joseph Peck, instead of from Dea William Pack through his son John
Peck.

A message was sent to WAR about this.

What we'd actually like to see is some proof that George Bush and John
Roberts, the probable Rehnquist successor as Chief Justice of the United
States, are related.

Then the Democrats can raise a charge of nepotism against Bush before
the vote on September 22nd.

Good. I descend from the Deacon and I don't relish another connection
to "W".

The current President of the USA, George W. Bush, is a member of the Texas
Society of the Sons of the American Revolution of which I am, also, a
member. It would be inappropriate for me to comment further as the same is
not the topic of either this subject nor this news group.
