dear - Therav#@aol.com

In your message of 28th of Aug,2005 about a reference to
Wm. FARRER ,emigrant [to where ? Virgina ?]

I am a decendent of Philip TURPIN s/o Matthew TURPIN of
early Virgina & Cecily FARRER , & Elizabeth SKERME
Elizabeth was d/o Edward SKERME & Mary -----.

You show an Edward SKERNE, is this Edward an earlier
ancestor of my Edward SKERME. PLease note: I show an
"M" in the last name , you show an "N".

I can give you few details [dates, & places]. Is there a possible connection ?

In "brief" BVD

Dear BVD,

I'll try to keep this shorts...

I'm not sure how this Edward or Elizabeth Skerme (?) connects to
Cecily Farrer as you show above. The descent is through the emigrant
William Farrar's maternal grandmother, Thomasine Skerne, dau. of the
fishmonger Percival Skerne and wife of William Kelke.
The document cited in my post was evidently mistranscribed as
shown on the A2A site - where it reads "Edward" Skerne, the correct
name is Edmund Skerne.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to post added details/queries
here, or directly to my email:

Cheers,

John
