Discrepancy between the secondary sources making reference to the family of
Ralph Percy (1425-1464):

From Gerald Brenan's A History of the House of Percy (1902), v. 1, Genealogy
Table 2 (between p. 168 & p. 169):
Sir Ralph Percy, Kt., "The Gledd of Dunstanburgh," married (1) Eleanor, dau.
and heir of Lawrence Acton of Acton, and (2) Jane, dau. and heir of Sir John
Teye of Bursted, Essex.

But Sion Evidences, A. II., No. 3. b. pp. 3-4, gives a rental roll from
Alnwick in the year 1498 showing Eleanor (Acton) Percy as still living:
"Alianora Relicta Radulphi Percy militis, filia et heres Laur. Acton, tenet Haysand
per servitium unius feodi militis &c. et reddit per annum pro Warda Castri,
&c. xiij. s. iiij. d.
