Thanks for the warning. Since no one had apparently responded to his
inquiry I wanted to share what I had seen from that one source. I was not vouching
for its authenticity. Personally I would always want to verify a secondary
source with primary ones. But it was a place to start if he has not seen it.

Definitely. In this case, searching the sgm archive should pull up a
series of posts by John Ravilious (& others) which help correct the
_Yorkshire Pedigrees_ account, at least for the earlier generations. I
think there was still some question about just how many Henrys or Johns
fit into this particular line, and who their wives really were. If I
get a minute I'll collate what I saved on this family (I have a couple
of descents from them, via William Wentworth of New Hampshire).
