With the end-of-July load of records, the following interesting 'new'
items are showing on A2A:

from Lambeth Palace Library: Archbishops of Canterbury Archives --

Vicar General

Peculiar Jurisdiction - ref. AA/V/H

Testamentary records: filed papers for the deanery of the Arches

FILE - Poole, Henry, girdler, St. Mary le Bow, (died in
Boston, New England) - ref. AA/V/H/95/1556 - date: 1644

from Lincolnshire Archives: Records of the Spalding Court of Sewers --

Sewers files

Miscellaneous - ref. Spalding Sewers/460/5

FILE - Edward Winslow to his uncle Robert Jackson - ref.
Spalding Sewers/460/5/136 - date: 30 October 1623
hit[from Scope and Content] Inquires about his father in law.
His wife - he left in health at Plimoth in New England the 10 of
September last "myselfe being now at London upon some business between
the Plantation there and the company of Adventurers and the Councell
here and am to returne again about December next."

I would guess that the item below applied to John Eaton, father of Mr.
Gifford's investors, John Eaton and his sister Katherine (Eaton)
Dodsworth. Katherine, wife of the elder John Eaton, was a daughter of
Sir John Bourghchier.

from Court of Orphans, City of London --

Reference: CLA/002/02/01/0090
Eaton, John, citizen and mercer

Creation dates: 1671

Scope and Content

Katherine, widow of

Douglas Richardson royala

You're very welcome, Douglas. Here's one more thing:

from Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies: Title deeds and Estate
papers of the Cherry Garrard family of the Lamer Estate, Wheathampstead
--

TITLE DEEDS

FILE - Bargain and sale (as security for debt) - ref. DE/Gd/27085 -
date: 1 Anne 1702 December 11
hit[from Scope and Content] Nicholas Cole Spencer,
gent, one of the younger sons and executors of Nicholas Spencer of
Nominy, county Westmorland, Virginia, Esq, deceased: William Spencer of
Cople, Beds, son and heir and executor of Nicholas Spencer; Thomas
Starke of London, merchant: messuages, etc, in Kings Capscoe at Nominy
and near Popes Creeke and elsewhere in Virginia and all slaves, stock,
cattle etc thereon:

I think William Spencer of Cople was the Member of Parliament discussed
in _The History of Parliament: The House of Commons, 1690-1715_ ("1st
s. of Nicholas Spencer, of Nomini, Westmoreland co.,Virginia").
