mending broken fences

I believe it is time to mend the broken fences. That we have created.
We don't have to agree with everything someone says. But we owe it to
each other to listen before reacting out. With mean and sometimes
hateful name calling like I said. I do owe a apology to Nat David and
Stewart for some hateful things I have said. Just like I would call on
Doug to Leo, Leo to Doug, Peter to Doug, and Doug to Peter. To
apologize doesn't me your less of person. It makes you more of one. But
I would also like to see Leo and Spencer mend there rift also. You two
had a good friendship once.

While I appreciate your good intentions, Mike, I think the circumstances
WOULD make me less of a person if I offered any apology to Richardson, as
this could only be insincere.

Unless someone can show me (i.e. with proof, not mere assertion) how I have
wronged him, where I have expressed negative opinions about him that were
unfair and/or unprovoked, I will not be able to offer an honest apology.

Peter

I do respect your opinion. I don't think we need to agree to everything
posted by any individual. But maybe we should just listen before we
react. I can't speak for everyone and would never do that. Myself
Genealogy is a hobby. Just like when I build deep space telescope's.

It's only a hobby for me too - and I deeply envy the ability to make
telescopes, which I would much rather do if I could.

Yes nothing like seeing the planets with your own eyes. Like pictures
you see on the television.

Dear Leo,

I do believe it's a two way street. Not just a one way street. We all
have to give a little. I respect your opinion.

Best Wishes

Dear Mike

The sentiment is good but to succeed both sides must be willing and it is
obvious Richardson is not willing. He creates barriers all the time just
look what he did today.

Have you considered Rohese could be a half-sister and so on.

Reply: I suggest you look up primary sources. Which he apparently knows.
And most of the time when asked questions he ignores them or what he
considers a reply is a question in return which often is way off the
subject.

Or his behaviour towards CED, I only talk to you if I can call Tom, Dick or
Harry.

Collegiality and working together is a two-way street.

Hines has to realise that when people mention a book this does not mean they
stand behind it 100% let alone 1% and _have_ to defend it just because he
thinks you should.
And you have seen his behaviour after that.........Collegiality and working
together is a two-way street, but when was the last time_in his street_ that
genealogy had a look in?

As Malcolm Fraser reputedly did not say _Life isn't meant to be easy_
especially not when some people like to make it impossible for others.

Best wishes
Mike
