Gregorias Iberitzes - was he a Bagratid?

People, especially Ford,

I see in a chart named "DFA" posted at the Yahoo ancient genealogy group
site by, I believe, Ford, that "Gregoras Iberitzes", the father-in-law of
"Konstantinos Mousele Dux", and ancestor of the Komnenid Byzantine
emperors, was son of David I, a Bagratid, duke of Tao, and king of Iberia
(in the Caucasus) from 876 to 881.

Is this a speculation based on the surname "Iberitzes", or is there some
documentary evidence?

How would various of you assess this possibility?

Thanks.

I can add to my original message that, in the Oxford Dictionary of
Byzantium, his given name is spelled "Gregoras" and he is stated to have
besieged Andronikos Doukas for six months at Kabala some time shortly after
Dec 904.
