Jane Tempest

Could anyone supply me with the ancestry of Jane Tempest who married Harry Bold of Bold Hall, near Liverpool, Lancashire.
She was born circa 1435, the daughter of a John Tempest.
She and her husband Harry Bold had a daughter, Grace, who married Owen Tudor Fychan of Plas Penmynydd, Anglesey, who was a distant relative of the Tudors who reigned over England.
I had noticed a reference to a John Tempest in earlier postings, about the Hollands, and wonder if this John Tempest is connected.
Thanks,
Iolo.

For whatever it is worth, the 1580 visitation of Cheshire, p. 33, has an
account of the Boulds of Bould in Lancs. This includes a Sir Henry
Bould with a note, in italics, against him that he was living in the
reign of Edward IV. However it has his wife as "Katherine d. to
Richard Bould". This pedigree appears to have been given in 1580 by
Peter Bold of Upton, Cheshire who was a somewhat distant cousin and may
not have had all his facts straight.

Interestingly Ormerod's Cheshire, volume II p. 484, shows a Katherine,
dau. of Richard Bolde of Upton, Cheshire, who m. a Sir Henry Bolde of
Bolde.

Note the different spellings of Bold, probably all equally acceptable.
