Jean Jacquers kindly responded to questions raised by
Rebecca regarding the above family.

The St Sauveur family provide a very significant
historical part of early Normandy and English history.
From this family descend the Ripariis (Redvers), the
Vernons, and in the late 1300s the Bulkleys.

Historical records indicate that the St Sauveur family
established itself in the Contentin late 800s and
early 900s.

I will present the family pedigree and history
according to the information that I have collected.
Many sources will be quoted which the writer has not
investigated. Hopefully subscribers possess texts
containing these sources, or are able to make their
own investigation of the quoted sources, analyse, and
make available such information for the benefit of
all.

Sincerely Yours,

Paul Bulkley
