Dates on deeds

Dear list,
Below are a couple of extracts from the PRO A2A web page, but the dates are
confusing.
They are both dated 1537 April 10, yet in the first Margaret's husband,
Robert Browne is mortally ill, and in the second she is a widow? Perhaps the
date refers to the date that the court was held, rather than the date the deeds
were executed?
