I sincerely hope that all of the listers who live in London are safe
today. I apologize for the damage done to your city and people because
of our "leader". Best, Bronwen Edwards

Re: message from america
What liberal crap. I didn't vote for President Bush (twice) and I
don't agree with many of his policies, but he's certainly not to blame
for the actions of terrorists. It's people like you that make the free
world dangerous.

Re: message from america
Put simply, the current administration has spent 300 billion dollars on an
unwarranted, unprovoked war against a sovereign nation. This can in no way
be defined as targeting terrorism. It is, instead, misspent money,
misdirected effort, and food for Muslim terrorist recruiting (and encourages
future bombing against Bush's 'allies'). Go figure.

Re: message from america
As a Londoner whose parents were caught up in yesterday's dreadful
events, I find your 'apology' grotesquely offensive and inappropriate -
not to mention off topic. 50 people slaughtered and all you can think
about is petty partisan point-scoring.

Re: message from america
Sorry to have offended you. The point of my post was concern for the
people and, secondarily, my sincere embarassment and frustration at the
forces that appear to have led to this tragedy. It was not my intention
to start a controversy but only to express my feelings. I hope that
your parents came through their ordeal safely.
