Welsh Genealogies

I would like to find out how many volumes there are to Welsh
Genealogies, and hopefully I can purchase them someday.
I have an Evans line that according to one source is linked to Prince
Modoc. I would like to verify this by looking at the Volumes of the book.
Richard Evans Jr. d.b. 1650 d.d. 1693. Married Elizabeth. He supposedly is
connected with the family of Prince Modoc. His parents were Richard Sr. and
Rebecca.

Le,
Bartrum's Welsh genealogies won't go far enough to include these
Evanses- I think they only go to the generation born c1500. There are
many volumes and probably few sets (anyone know roughly how many sets
of each series were printed?)- a good candidate for a CD-ROM, if not
already done. Some later pedigrees are in Lewis Dwnn's Visitations that
were printed in 2 large vols in the 19th C IIRC, but it's best not to
hope for too much from that source (can't remember how far they go but
someone born 1650 may again be too late). Hope you get some luck
somewhere- Matthew
