In his sketch of Richard Dummer in _Great Migration Begins_, RCA notes
that Mr. Dummer married

"(1) by 1632 Jane Mason, daughter of Rev. Thomas Mason of Odiham,
Hampshire [Aspinwall 333]. She must be the same as the wife of Richard
Dummer reported by John Eliot; "Mrs. Mary Dummer, the wife of Mr.
Richard Dummer," was admitted to Roxbury church as member #57,
she was a Godly woman but by the seduction of some of her
acquaintances she led away into the new opinions in Mrs. Hutchinson's
time, & her husband removing to Nubery she there openly declared
herself, & did also (together with other endeavor) seduce her husband &
persuaded him to return to Boston; where she being young with child, &
ill, Mr. Clark (one of the same opinions) unskillfully gave her a
vomit, which did in such manner torture & torment her with the rising
of the mother & other violences of nature that she died in a most
uncomfortable manner; but we believe God took her away in mercy, from
worse evil, which she was falling unto & we doubt not but she is gone
to heaven [RChR 77].
Eliot describes a wife Mary who came with Dummer in 1632 and died
about 1637 when she was a few months pregnant, and this wife must also
be the mother of Shubael Dummer, whose mother is called Jane Mason.
Perhaps this conflict can be resolved by research in the Mason family
in England.

I suggest that the daughter of Rev. Mason was called "Mary," but that
Dummer did have a first wife named "Jane." The extracted IGI shows the
following marriages at Calne in Wiltshire:

Rycharde Dummer to Jane Southerwodde, 27 Aug. 1621

John Dummer to Jone Reade, 30 Aug. 1652

Just a small further note on Dummer. The writer of the main NEHGR
article on the family apparently was not aware that Edmund Dummer
(1651-1716), son of Thomas and Joan of North Stoneham and Chicknell,
was an M.P. (NEHGR 35:269-70). See _History of Parliament: House of
Commons, 1690-1715_ (ed. Cruickshanks, Handley, and Hayton) for a
lengthy sketch.
