Today the list of 18 items had only 6 that pertained
to medieval research..the other 12 were name calling
and nonsence. The last couple of months have been not
been in the best interest of medieval genealogy. Can
those who want to argue personalities do it off line
to one another and not clog the site with stuff.

Unfortunately, some of them keep their e-mail addresses secret, somehow
using fabricated addresses in their group correspondence.

I have noticed that the same people are frequently the originators of
name-calling, and the complainers when they get what they dish out.

Sad, since some of them are good scholars.

Perhaps what they need is not a moderated medieval genealogy group, but a
genealogy-insults group.

The issue is about Richardson's professionality, not his personailty.

If you want to play at statistics, Charlotte, try this:

Add up all of your posts to SGM over the entire time you have been
participating; let us know the total.

Then add up all of my posts that you find off-topic during the "last couple
of months". Multiply the result by any single-digit number you please. Then
add up all of my posts in the same period that you concede are not
off-topic. Subtract the multiple number of posts that you are complaining
about; then tell us the result.

Or compare this to your own contributions first, and then maybe you will
choose to keep quiet another time.
