A Multitude of Mysteries

Early this morning, I received an e-mail from the ListMaster@RootsWeb: 'You
are now the list administrator for RootsWeb's GEN-ANCIENT mailing list!
Welcome aboard!'
No further explanation or by-your-leave. So, don't ask me! You all, gentle
readers, now know as much as I.
Whatever the causes, I am taking up the challenge. I hope that we can
maintain the interest and enthusiasm that has prevailed this busy month.
I, hereby, invite those who dropped from the list, for whatever reason, to
resubscribe.
I also should like to see gateways established among the three lists, (i.e.
Gen-Ancient, soc-genealogy-ancient, and Ancient_Genealogy@Yahoogroups). As
I have suggested it more than once, this should come as no surprise. I
would ask Don & Todd for pointers and/or instruction(s) on doing so. Also,
I ask the two other listowners, moderators, administrators, or whatever the
appropriate title(s) is/are, whether they be interested. It can only help
our stated objectives, and each list's participation, as well as being a
boon to the various subscribers, experts, enthusiasts and hobbyists
concerned.
I am actually pretty excited about this surprising and unexpected turn of
events, and hope for a greater tomorrow with a variety participation.
Shalom, v'yom tov,
Ford

And on her dulcimer she played,

As in that last scene of _Independence Day_, when the
guy who had been abducted rams his jet into the flying
saucer's main weapon, ``hullo, I'm baaaack !!!''

:)))))
