I am pleased to learn that Peter Stewart's comments on
Douglas Richardson's information sought more
definitive information and better preciseness rather
than being unnecessary criticism.

As Peter is now involved in commendable work, perhaps
he would address one of his curious claims that he
made some months ago.

Peter claimed that an individual named RICHARD (no
surname), husband of Letitia de Malpas, (as recorded
in St Werburgh Charters Chester Cheshire), must be a
"PATRIC"!

"Circumstantial Evidence" was given as the basis of
his conclusion. This "Circumstantial Evidence"
consisted of one piece of data:

" The existence of a William PATRIC, lord of a moity
of Malpas Cheshire, presumably alive 20-40 years after
the recorded gift by Letitia de Malpas"

I trust that Peter now agrees that there is a distinct
lack of definitive information and a distressing
vagueness in preciseness. One is currently tempted to
conclude that the genealogical standards defining
"circumstantial evidence" have somehow dropped to the
sad level of many state and political prosecutions.

Anyhow I hope Peter will keep up the good work, and
now invest a few minutes of his valuable time
rectifying his claim because I am eager to amend my
poor records and this "circumstantial evidence".

Sincerely Yours,

Paul Bulkley.

False.

The only claim on this subject that requires justifying is yours, that
I ever stated what you are trying to represent.

Show us the post containing this alleged "claim" of mine that Letitia's
husband "must be a Patric" and I will address it.

Peter Stewart
