Status of Magna Carta Ancestry book

Dear Newsgroup ~

Good news to report to everyone. This past week Kim Everingham and I
shipped the Magna Carta Ancestry manuscript off to the the publisher.
Provided the schedule goes as planned, the book should be out on or
around June 1st, just in time for the NGS Conference in Nashville,
Tennessee.

Simply put, the book is MASSIVE. The final manuscript is whopping 1100
pages in size, with 36 pages of introduction. This compares to 946
pages, plus 30 pages of introduction, for the Plantaganet Ancestry
book. The larger size is due to several factors. First, I chose to
include descriptions of hundreds of heraldic seals in the citations.
Second, the index includes an all new index to battles prepared by Kim
Everingham. Third, Kim Everingham expanded the already huge
bibliography to include a list of all the articles cited in the text.
Fourth, the book contains scores of new discoveries, plus countless
additions and corrections to such standard authorities such as Complete
Peerage and Scots Peerge.

In closing, I wish to extend my hearty and sincere thanks to everyone
for their support and encouragment for the Magna Carta project. Your
enthusiasm and keen interest helped push the book to the finish line.

Best always, Douglas Richardson, Salt Lake City, Utah

Earlier in February, you promised to post a list of colonial immigrants
derived from Magna Carta Ancestry. Anxious to see it!

Looking forward to the book,
thanks,
joe

Doug, can you give us a COMPLETE list of the immigrant ancestors
it covers? Both of my royally descended ancestors have Magna Carta
ancestors, but I suspect that you will leave out the Scottish one.

In the past month, I have tried several times to contact Mr. Richardson
about the purchase offer to no avail. My e-mail to him at
<royalancestry@msn.com> is unanswered. My e-mail to the contact address
on the website <info@royalancestry.net> was returned as "user unknown".
Oh well!

Dear Marilyn ~

I'm here alright. I received your e-mail addressed to "royalancestry @
msn.com". I've been out of town the last few days and just received
your e-mail prompting me for a reply. I was planning to reply to your
e-mail today in fact. You should hear from me shortly.

Also, thank you for bringing my attention to the problem with my other
e-mail address listed on my website. I contacted my server for that
account just now and they immediately corrected the "glitch" which was
bouncing e-mails. Anything addressed to my domain "royalancestry.net"
should reach me now. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Note to all: The Magna Carta Ancestry book is now at the printers. I
anticipate the book will be done just before June 1st, in time for the
NGS Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, which I'm planning to attend.
The special prepublication price for my book will be in effect until
June 1st. Please contact me privately offline for details regarding
ordering. Thanks!

Don't feel left out, I've tried as well.

No Reply.

Funny that , he did tell us to email him off list.

He's to busy engaged in mud slinging at fellow readers.

I've Always said the best form of defence is silence.

Wish all this mud slinging would stop
