what I saw before

Three years ago another list I belonged to had a member, to get into some trouble by misusing the internet. It got discussed/argued on the net for weeks. It literally destroyed one of the best lists I have ever seen. The membership went from over 2000members to just a few.
Now after three years the list is finally getting more member.Reason I voiced my opinion is what i saw happen before, the arguments getting completely out of hand, people cussing each other on list etc.

Would hate to hear about it happening to another list.

I agree Faye but this list (Gen-Medieval-L) has these sort of discussions many times. The die hards stay because it's so useful :) Those faint of heart leave.
However if Ms Ache wants to quell this group-ologue maybe she should post an apology to everyone for her extreme overreaction to criticism. If you can't critique the leaders then the leaders are totalitarian. In a society (the internet) where we can choose where to take our business, people who act heavy-handed quickly find themselves sitting in their empty room by themselves.
