Hello dear old friend!
How are you, I hope that you are well even though you struggle to accomplish
the good you do!
I am reminded of a story I heard once about a tall stately stallion.
This tall stately stallion was one day harassed by a mean horse fly.
The Tall stately stallion stood there and stamped its hooves and shook its
tail.
After a while the horse fly went away.
You are the tall stately stallion, and always will be.
She from what I can tell is just a horse fly!
There are those that know you well!
Cheers old friend, and remember that there are those of us that wish we were
like you!
Carry on, as this world is a far better place with you!
Your work below is impressive
Sincerely,
Ray

Dear Ray,

It's good to hear from you again! The work below is
just a collage: my contribution was with the scissors
and the glue... True authors are Sir Anthony Wagner,
David Kelley and Christian Settipani.

I'll extend the line downwards tomorrow: then I'll add
my twopence ;-))

All the best, chico

This comes from a descent table dated 1980 by David
Kelley, which was communicated to me by Stanford
Mommaerts. DK notes that there is a discrepancy here
with Settipani€s views.

Settipani, for the wife of Maanu VI, makes the following statements --
(1) that Ode and Abgar VI known to be daughter and son of Maanu VI,
(2) that Abgar VII known to be son of Izates, and nephew of Abgar VI, and
(3) that Sanatroukes known to be maternal nephew of Abgar VI.
(C. Settipani, Nos Anc€tres de l€Antiquit€, Ed. Christian (1990), p79.)

I think the problem is the name Izates, and therefore Settipani placed
the mother of Ode and Abgar VI as a daughter of Izates II, King of Adiabene.
I'm very interested to see how David Kelley's descent table of 1980
accounted for that name. Is there an alternate theory proposed there?
(Or, did I mis-read/mis-understand the French text on page 79?)
