Leo Van de Pas and Douglas Richardson suggest that the
Thomas St. Leger mentioned in the will of Thomas
Echyngham d 1444 would be the 2nd husband of Anne of
York. I hesitate as this Thomas St. Leger married
Anne in 1473 many years after Thomas Echyngham death
and of course it could be if Thomas St. Leger was born
before 1444. Approximate age of Thomas St. Leger might
help with the problem.

Dear Charlotte ~

Thomas St. Leger was clearly of age before 1465, when he was pardoned
for striking the marshal of the hall at Westminster. Also, I show that
his wife, Anne Plantagenet, was born in 1439. He was Anne's 2nd
husband. Anne's first husband, Henry Holand, Duke of Exeter, was born
in 1430.

If you are looking for a Thomas St. Leger born before 1444, I believe
this is an excellent candidate.

Best always, Douglas Richardson, Salt Lake City, Utah

Charlotte,

I have a date of birth of about 1440 for the Thomas St. Leger who married
Anne of York.
