hiberian kingdoms

hello every body !!!!
I am trying to build genealogical charts and tables of the soverein and
noble families of the hiberian pensinsula, starting from the visigoth kings,
but...it is not easy !
No family names ( just the father's name lile Ordonez or Nunez or
Gozales......), a lot of similar or even same names ( Nuno, Ordono;
Muniadona) make the thing very hard: I am helping myself with Eurpaeische
Stammtafeln, and the internet of course, but I have still a lot of
confusion:
does anybody in the group know if there is a book or a site in the internet
with all these families? I am interested at:
the Visigoth kings, the old kings of Asturia and Leon, the early counts of
Castille and so on.... (speaking of persons, I would like to know the issue
of persons such: Gonzalo Alfonso Betote, the ancestor of El Cid campeador,
Munio ( or Nuno) Belchides, Nuno Nunoz Razura and Branosera, the Counts of
Cea, the Visigoth Duques of Coimbra - Ermenegilgo Guterres, Rodrigo Romaes,
Lovesendo Ramirez, the Banu Qasi family, the early counts of Trastamara -
Rodrigo froilaz, Froila Guterres, Nuno Munoz de Castogeres.)
Thank you very much for the help.
Cesare

Ceasar, for persons at least moderately well-known start here
http://www.wikipedia.org
In general many people have organized lists of the Kings of Navarre, Castile,
Portugal, etc and you can browse up and down through these and even add your
own notes and comments as you go along.
Then the next person to do it, will have the benefit of your additional
information as well.

As one guide, to be used in order to track down better information, you
might try Stirnet. As people in this group have pointed out, the
listing of sources is sloppy and some of those listed are questionable.
However, it gives enough names, dates, etc. to be able to refine your
search with a better site, such as Genealogics.
