Hopefully a better royal descent (through the Forbes/Fobes)

Here is another royal descent. This time, I included sources for the
first few generations, many of which is unforuntatly Ancestral File.
I am quite certain, however, that John Forbes (m. Christian Barclay)
has a few correct descents from William the Conqueror and Charlemagne.
From what I understand, John Forbes/Fobes (m. Constant Mitchell) is
thought to be the son of the elder John Forbes, but it has not been
proved.

1. Henry I, King of Scotland + Matilda, Princess of Scotland
2. Elizabeth, Princess Of England + Fergus, Lord Of Galloway
3. Gilbert Of Galloway + ?
4. Duncan, Earl Of Carrick + Avelina Fitzwalter
5. Neil, Earl Of Carrick + Margaret Stewart
6. Margaret, Countess Of Carrick + Robert De Brus
7. Robert I "The Bruce" + Isabell Of Mar
8. Marjorie Bruce + Walter, High Steward Of Scotland
9. Robert II, King of Scotland + Elizabeth More
10. John Stewart (Robert III) + Annabella Drummond
11. Mary Stewart + George Douglas, Earl of Angus
12. Elizabeth Douglas + Alexander Forbes
13. James Forbes + Egidia Keith
14. Patrick Forbes + Elspet(?)
15. David Forbes + Elizabeth Panter
16. Patrick Forbes + Marjory Lumsden
17. William Forbes + Elizabeth Strachan
18. John Forbes + Christian Barclay (7)
19. John Forbes/Fobes (see note) + Constant Mitchell
(6)
20. Elizabeth Fobes + Joseph Russell (5)
21. Joseph Russell + Mary Tucker (4)
22. William Russell + Elizabeth Smith (3)
23. Mary Ann Russell + Benjamin Brownell (2)
24. Russel Brownell + Diana Castle (1)
25. Harriat Brownell (1826 - 1894) + David
Irish (1823 - 1884)(1)

Note: John Fobes/Forbes was born in Abt. 1625 in Alford,
Aberdeenshire, Scotland and died in 1661 at Bridgewater, Plymouth
Colony, Massachusetts. There is some question about if his father was
Rev. John Forbes. A site I went to,
http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~legends/fobes.html
trys to explain why his name was spelled forbes.

Actually it's the other way around. The origin and parentage of John Fobes,
husband of Constant Mitchell, is unknown. Various inventive persons have tried
to insert him into the family of John Forbes and Christian Barclay, but it's not
true.

On the link from 1 (mother) to 2 I have this note:

"Princess Joan (Elizabeth) has never been positively identified as the illegitimate daughter of Henry I. The theory of Fergus' wife as a daughter of Henry I hinges on a later statement that Fergus' descendants were related to the English royal family, but this connection could've come through another line. While it's entirely possible that Fergus was Henry's son-in-law, no definitive proof has presented itself -- at least as far as I am aware."

On the Connection from 4 Duncan to 5 Neil it's very wise that you did NOT put any dates. Since Duncan was Earl of Carrick in 1185 and Neil his purported SON was underage in 1250 (!) it's highly dubious that they were father-son.
Rather it is probably that "Nicholas" was not the same person as "Neil" but rather a person who d.v.p. So we would have here
4 Duncan
5 Nicholas
6 Neil
