Since in 1295 Edw. I gives leave for William de Bois[Bosco] (who held of
him in capite) to enfeoff Milicent de Montalt (who also held of him in
capite) in a moiety of the manor of Thorpe-Ernauld, could anyone suggest an
interpretation for the name MAULA?
