Rulers of Gilan

David Hughes and I have been discussing the rulers of Gilan, and I'd
thought I'd share the recent research. He had previously identified
Gilanshah, the son of Bostanai, with Gil Gawbara, the first independent
king/prince of Gilan. I noticed that the dates simply don't work out.
He died in 660, and Gilanshah would have been way too young to have
fathered a child by this time. Then I did some further research and
pieced together this lineage. Unfortunately, this means that Gilanshah
ben Bostanai is lost to history, and wasn't the ancestor of this
short-lived dynasty that does have descendants, including myself.
