Dear Douglas, Leo, Ian, et al.,
The following descent from Edward I of England to the emigrant
Elizabeth (Bosvile) (Harlakenden) Pelham was noted during my
research of the Bosvile/Bosville and related families. This is
the result of identifying Muriel Barnby or Barneby
(1.1a.1a.1.1.1a.1a.1.1.1.1 , below) as the daughter of Charles
Barneby of Barnby Hall, co. Yorks. by his wife Dionis or Denise,
daughter of Sir Robert Hildyard of Winestead and his wife
Elizabeth Hastings.
~ I am in the process of developing information re: further
(non-emigrant) descents: a post re: same should follow in
relatively short order.......
Please note that this provides more extensive ancestry to the
Bosville descendants noted than as shown below, including further
descents from Edward I of England through the Dinham-Montagu
marriage and through the Lords Morley. Details re: these descents
can be found in the SGM archives; anyone wishing to identify such
descents are welcome to contact the undersigned.
Hope this is of interest.
Cheers,
John *
