Christmas Train ( a Poem )

Dear Newsgroup,
I hope Everyone has a very good Holiday Season this
year, even if You don`t care to celebrate anything, have a very nice time not
doing it.

Christmas Train

Little Brothers can be a pain, especially when young at Christmastime
But for One to fully quash that exuberance would be a crime
He was wide awake that Christmas, breathing in his brother`s face
He was rolling back in forth, not keeping to one space
`Think They got a train ?` little Brother enthused
The older Brother had thought it was funny at first but had ceased to
be amused
The Query was wearisome times three through ten
` I don`t know, okay ? So go to sleep, Len. `
` But Santa`s coming, Tucker, I want to see him up close `
` He`s just a fat hairy man ` Tucker grumbled: ` He`s really kind of
gross`
` Is not!` Len shrilled ; `Boys !` their Father said
`Knock it off ! You don`t hear that from your brother Fred`
Fred of course was seventeen, the coolest of the cool
He had his license and everything, soon would leave High School
Somehow, Tucker dowsed, Len struggling to stay awake
Yet despite that wish He did sleep, having taken all He could take
Dawn came, cold and frosty beyond the house`s door
After Breakfast came the presents and most of all a train on the floor
The `Men` all gathered round it, ran it around it`s track
They all had fun that day, something They never shall get back
