CP, 3:151-52 ("Chaundos"), says ...

5. THOMAS BRUGGE or A BRUGGIS, [son of Giles,] of Cubberley, &c., s.
and h., aged 40 and more at his father's death [1467]. Knight of the
Shire for co. Gloucester, 1460, and for co. Hereford, 1472. He m.
Florence, da. of William DARELL, of Littlecote, Wilts., by Elizabeth,
da. and h. of Thomas CALSTONE, of Littlecote afsd. He d. 30 Jan.
1492/3.

His marriage to Florence Darell probably occurred in or near 1453, when
we find the following document [Calendar of Darrell papers, in _List &
Index_, vol. 182, p. 47]:

[SP 46/45/65; 28 May 1453] Receipt of Giles Brigges, esq., for 200
marks paid by Elizabeth Darrell, widow of Sir William Darrell.
