I apologize for the cross-posting in my reply to Sloan on the Discover
Magazine thread; I tried to follow directions I received on how to
reply without continuing the cross-posting, but obviously I did not do
it right. Bronwen

I suppose this is the one advantage of using Rootsweb's GEN-MEDIEVAL
mailing list: you can't cross-post from there.

But on news posting software, there has to be somewhere the list of
newsgroups to which you are posting. Just delete all the others.

And if you are really up-market, you set the Follow-ups to
soc.genealogy.medieval as well. Though perhaps on second thoughts, you
only do this if you are cross-posting as this might well set all replies
from everyone to s.g.m (only). On third thoughts, perhaps, don't use
Follow-ups!

Apology for the accidental SEND.
Have two kittens who occasionally frolic across the keyboard while I am
online.
Don't know how it happened, but.....

Sorry.
