Kelly errrrr Kerry

Richard Kerry, that's right, not Richard Kelly.

True, it was a different Harvard. As Marshall said Harvard has been
soliciting talented paupers, but we are talking about the Harvard of
the 20s and 30s, which was more elitest, truth be told. I couldn't be
happier that they are seeking out the talented who may not be wealthy.
That's what America is all about; those with talent and skill can rise
through the ranks of society. With the advent of reality tv those
lacking any talent can also rise to the top.

Some of the older generations of my family went to Harvard, but in the
younger generations it's fallen out of vogue. Funny enough Marshall
said he's still dirt poor after going to Harvard. I think the problem,
which I noticed before I was even a teenager, is that most parents
raise their children to be followers and not leaders. They don't equip
them with the necessary skills for leadership, and for example teach
them to accept things they cannot change, instead of fighting against
injustice.

I value three things in a person, some may still call it shallow, but
I think it's a valid system for judging people. Intelligence, Beauty
(inner as well as outer), and passion. You could have knowledge of
every fact in the world, but if you don't apply it to making someone
happy, someone informed, or the world a better place in some fashion,
then it's a waste. There is nothing I admire more than someone
dedicated and passionate about something, as long as it's sane,
whether I personally like it or not.

I have written a little on philosophy, so I appologize if I'm being
too philosophical for some. As the scorpion said, "it's my nature."

Speculation.
