Sir Christopher Blount was not closely related to the Lords
Mountjoy. Oxford DNB correctly states that he was the second
son of Thomas Blount, of Kidderminster See also A.J. Perrett,
"The Blounts of Kidderminster," _Transactions of the Worcester-
shire Archaeological Society_ n.s. 19:10-18 (1942).

Who his parents are is in dispute.
It certainly imho would make more sense that Lettice Knollys daughter would marry her step-father's brother, than that she would just by happenstance marry a distant cousin.
Since two, well-received, secondary sources disagree, merely posting that one is right, is not proof.
