Montgomery - an RPA omission??

RPA p. 624 lists William Sacheverell as son of Sir Henry by his wife Elizabeth/Isabel, dau. of Sir Nicholas Montgomery. Elsewhere in RPA at p. 461 Joan Longford, dau. of Sir Nicholas and Margery Sulney, is shown as wife of Sir Nicholas Montgomery. RPA does not make a connection between these two Sir Nicholases, but I believe Rosie Bevan has shown that there is one.

Rosie's well-documented posts of November 2002 on Montgomery of Cubley give this sequence for this family:
Sir Nicholas II, m. Margery Sulney
Sir Nicholas III, m. Isabella Vernon
Sir Nicholas IV, m. Joan Delves
Isabella, m. Henry Sacheverell of Morley

If this descent of the Montgomerys is still correct, it appears that RPA has overlooked a Plantagenet descent for William Sacheverell. (This of course is assuming that one sets aside the doubts that have been raised about the Plantagenet connection via Ida de Odingseles - another matter entirely)
