I have a copy of "Hitterdals Boken" but am having difficulty understanding
references in some of the dates. For example:
1. Anne, dopt 1. S. e. Paaske 1725
Does this mean that Anne was baptized on the First Sunday after Passover,
1725?
2. Ole, dopt S. Sept. 1725
Does this mean Ole was baptised on Sunday 1725?
3. Simon, dopt 3. S. i Faste 1729
Simon baptised on the Third Sunday ? Fast? 1729.
4. Johannes, dopt 22. S. e. Trf. 1731
What is the 22 S. e. Trf 1731?
Perhaps there a Church Calendar for these dates available online?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any book with the very elementaries of genealogical research would
greatly benefit you. For a list of the days of the churchyear, see
e.g. <http://www.logosmappen.net/uppbyggelse/luther/huspostillan/> in
Swedish. The relation to Norwegian abbreviations should be apparent.

Re: Translation Church Dates Please
Thank you so much for the very useful information. I printed the page and
now only need to have it translated into English and then correlate the
church holidays/events with their calendar months.
Gratefully,
