Saving with FTM

Legg inn av Kathryn M Rogers » 02 okt 2004 00:18:42

Hello Listers,

I have FTM v11 and over 30,000 names on my data. FTM 11 does not recognise
that I have a writable CD driver. This CD writer works for other files on my
computer, but just is not recognised by FTM 11. Does anyone have any
suggestions?

Sure, burn your CD from a CD mastering program. It "sounds" like

you're saving to the CD using packet writing software.... this is very
unreliable, almost as bad as not making backups at all.

The easy way is to save to a special folder on your hard disc, and then burn

the cd by copying the file with a cd burning programme (you should have one
provided with the drive).
