What experiences do you have with using Bygones for organising / storing research material or any other programs or techniques?

Access maybe? Have you any approaches to then getting into the information into your main FH database program?

Thanks,

Graham

I d/l it and played with it a bit a few years back. Seemed
to create more work than it saved, but a number of folks
liked it, so maybe it was me.

I have Bygones, but found it too difficult to use.

Access too -- I found it difficult to get documentation on its scripting
language, and anyway, by the time one has learnt to use such a program it is
obsolete and has been replaced by something else. There was Word Basic and
then Visual Basic for Aplications and I believe those have been replaced by
something else.

I mainly use askSam, a text database program, and I've tried Genota, a
genealogical note-taking program.

Thanks,

Graham
