Strange glitch

Legg inn av Bill Burgoyne » 26 feb 2006 12:36:03

I have two networked computers running XP Pro, when searching "FamilySearch"
on one of them when I enter details in the "International Genealogical
Index" the normal list is propagated.
I then click on a likely birth or marriage for the parents or the spouse,
then use the back button to look at others in the list. I then get "Warning
: Page has Expired" I then click the back button again and have re-enter all
the details again.
This has been happening for several months but not on the other computer
that has just gone out of action until I replace the dead power supply unit.
( I have disconnected the network cable)

Any suggestions to over come this problem would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill

I get this from time to time on _some_ websites. Hitting the refresh button
will usually restore the page.

On the LDS site, if you click the results link, you'll usually get your
results back without having to type things back in again.

Thank you John,

Clicking the "Search Results" works OK for me, it will save me from a lot of
frustration.
Many thanks,
Bill
