Inserting a picture into a WP document
I have spent several labor-days trying to make WP 11.0.0.233 accept a
picture -- ANY picture!
It won't. I get an error message that WP can't open [path here]. Here
follows a list of virtually all 4000 separate images on my HD, some
dating from 1997, others taken Monday; some are b&w line drawings, some
are full-color digital pictures; WP can't open any of 'em.
Mozilla opens them; IE opens them; WORD opens them; assorted image
manipulation programs opens them, even PAINT opens them. My WP 8.x
opens them.
Logic, that little tweeting blue-bird of happiness, suggests that I
failed to do *something* while installing WP. Anyone know what or if it
can be fixed? Or was the WP that came with my DELL crippleware?
Tnx

Cheryl, I'm using WP10. This works for me (I've just tried with a tiff file
to confirm).

I did a search and found several. I don't have WP so can't try them out.

Sounds like the least frustrating thing to do is do a simple reinstall in
case a file has been damaged or is missing...
