Help please - Family Historian

Legg inn av Maloney Empire » 25 mar 2005 13:10:46

Hi all,

I have a 4th cousin who is using Family Historian and she would like to know
if there is a facility to omit living people from a file to send to another
researcher.
She is new to this genie program and has only been researching her family
for about 3 years.
I suggested she look in the Help file - will she find something in there
that is pretty clear on what to do?
Thank you.
Regards,

Di

I use FH and unfortunately the program does not have a facility to remove
living people.

If you visit the Family Historian User Group web page (http://www.fhug.org.uk), you
can download ResPrivata which will do the job for you.

The direct link to download ResPrivata is:
http://www.fhug.org.uk/cgi-bin/index.cg ... edCom&id=6

Regards
Karl

It's possible to edit out the living persons by not saying when they were
born and as for there death
if they are living you would not show anyway.

Otherwise you can delete the siblings who are living, from individual
records within the edit,
bearing in mind, the start place person may be living.
