Hello group

Having looked at ancestry's results in New York passenger lists, for Ernest
FREYLER emigrated from Baden, Germany between the years of 1863 to 1865 and
also Lena HUBER, same period; I am really stuck :-(

Has anyone got any suggestions ????????

Hi Rob

Did you try alternate spellings when you did your searches? Try things like
Frailer, Frayler, etc. I've forgotten exactly what that interface looks like,
but do searches, if possible, on the name Ernst by itself for a year at a time
looking for possible matches in the resultant list. Try just Fre for the
surname portion and use Soundex. These searches can turn into a lot of
drudgery, but that's usually what's necessary.

Good luck,

Bob
