I had sent for the naturalization records of an ancestors who was naturalized
in Philadelphia about 1850. I sent a stamped self-addressed envelope and check
and they were returned because I didn't send enough money. I re-sent and that
was about a month ago and I still haven't heard from them.
Now here's my problem. I had a computer crash and have no idea as to how to
contact the people at the Archives again. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Naturalization Record
What state are you in? Maybe some can help with that crashed drive who lives
local. They could be more economical than a repair shop, especially if you buy
part.

Is this what you mean by "archives"? Try

Or maybe you have used the following ----
Naturalization records of the Supreme Court of
Pennsylvania, 1794-1868 (Record Group-33) are available for
the Eastern District (Philadelphia), Southern District
(Chambersburg), and Western District (Pittsburgh). An index
of the records of the Eastern District in Philadelphia
covering the years 1794-1868 has been published in
Philadelphia Naturalization Records: An Index to Records of
Alliens' Declarations of Intention and/or Oaths of
Allegiance, 1789-1880, in the United States Circuit Court,
United States District Court, Supreme Court of
Pennsylvania, Quarter Sessions Court, Court of Common
Pleas, Philadelphia
