Lookup in Michigan

Thomas Vernon Gibson b. March 15, 1893 Baldwin Michigan.

His parents and 2 older siblings were born in Canada. Joseph (his
brother) was born Oct 12, 1891 in Canada so the family moved to
Michigan after that and before Thomas was born. I believe they
remained in the U.S. until sometime after the 1901 Canadian Census.

Thanks

Gary, The 1900 U.S. Census is indexed by head of household only. Can you
please provide Thomas' father's name? I searched for Gibson in Lake County,
Michigan (location of Baldwin) and only had one hit. John Gibson, 39 b.
CAN, married but no family living with him. Mike

If you find a place and specific time the state has a nice collection of
filmed newspapers you might be able to interloan. Small-town papers
tended to mention the doings of subscribers. I found 20 years of info on
my great grandfather in the Belding Banner.

Mike,

In my haste to post I forgot to add the line.

"I would like to determine the names of Thomas's parents".

Since they were Canadian would there be an immigration record that may
have listed Joseph?

Thanks
