I am a genealogical researcher. I am known for finding unusual
sources of information to break up blocks in your research. I have
twenty years in genealogy research. My fee is $25.00 per hour plus
copy costs, film or fiche orders and mileage (if I have to travel
farther than 40 miles). I am a relentless researcher willing to take
on difficult tasks.

You give no credentials whatsoever and hide behind anonymity. Anyone
would have to be crazy to hire you when they can see those red flags for
starters. Your research capabilities also appear to be rather weak when
you haven't been able to research the fact that a special newsgroup,
soc.genealogy.marketplace, exists to handle commercial genealogy posts.
Try at least to be a decent netizen and use it.

Who are you? Where are you?

Forty miles from where? Ulan Bator?

for years break blocks in their lines. Your emotive and subjective

States and several other countries. I have been doing research for
over 25 years. I have experience in all types of research including
legal research. I have a doctorate degree. In addition, I help and
train people to use genealogy software and maintain computers and
their programs for persons who lack computer skills. All persons who
contact me receive this information. In addition, I posted in a
general group so that my information, which crosses countries and
specialization is available to everyone. I am so sorry it offended
you. However, you might try to ask before you make subjective
offensive remarks.

One possible reason that folk got excited is because this is not the right
group for commercial advertising. That's soc.genealogy.marketplace.

It is good Madam, thank you. I had hoped that brevity, for those with
less fast computers would be most helpful, with information available

insulting. I have in excess of 25 years in genealogical research. I
spend numerous hours helping persons who have blocks in their research
find ways around them. I have a doctorate degree as far as education,
if that is what you are asking. However, as I have learned, many of
the most helpful tips I have received have been from amatuers who have
spent years poring over records and have a great understanding of
records that professionals do not. However, if people wish to contact
me on their difficulties they will receive and estimate with what
resources I will review and what resources I already have at my
disposable. I hope this answers your questions. However, I may be
more helpful in the future to make an outright request for information
rather than determine something is a scam due to brevity.

I'm not Bob, but I think it was more the spam content than the lack of
coherent writing in your post, although both are present.

It's not in literature, that's for sure.

Well you not once gave any evidence as to your credentials. Why should we
think otherwise?

This newsgroup is about fellow genealogists who enjoy posting and assisting
each other, with no concern for charging each other. There are seperate
boards for advertising your services. Personally, thats why I subscribe to
this one....so I don't need to read any advertisements.
