I have searched and searched to no avail. Would dealy appreciate any
help. Trying to locate the death date and 2nd marriage date of Jonas
Wharton Holmes.. b. 12 Feb 1862 in Mercer County, Hamilton Twnship,
NJ. First wife was Florence P Long.. she is buried in Greenwood
Cemetary, Trenton NJ. Jonas was still married to her in the 1910
census. There HAS to be a death date.. I just can't find it.. and we
just NOW learned of him running off with and marrying his secretary!!
Anyone in the Trenton NJ area that could help?? I so ty.

Helen & Howard,
he (age 59) was still living with Florence in 1920 (unless Florence
was already dead, and he
married another Florence!). He is indexed by Ancestry as Tomer Holmes
and by
Heritage Quest as James--ED99, Sheet 7A (Ancestry is 13/50). Did
foremen in
rubber mills have secretaries?
