WorldConnect vs GenCircles vs ?
After uploading one gedcom to GenCircles, I realize there may
be good reasons to use a different service. I plan to upload
many gedcoms (not sure how many), and I don't want the extra
burden of updating several sites with identical stuff, so a
single choice looks best.
I have discovered a perhaps serious problem with GenCircles,
wherein they can't seem to make my data searchable or even
findable. After some weeks!
But the alternative may be worse. /And/ are there other
services that should be considered?
Help me decide...

For a variety of reasons, if you're only going to use one GEDCOM
hosting facility, I'd use WorldConnect.
The principal reason is that WorldConnect is actively maintained and
supported. There's a full-time programmer with a name -- Randy Winch --
supporting WorldConnect, and Randy's one of the most competent guys
around. Definitely world-class. And he's been around for a very long
time.
And I know the hardware suite and network environment that
Worldconnect operates in, and it's professionally done, scaleable, and
will continue to work for years.

Kay, could you elucidate? Compare with
GenCircles, compare with WorldConnect?
Or at least, what features you like?

Regardless, one place to STAY AWAY FROM is genealogy.com. They take whatever

It has been suggested that there is some convenient modification of
information to fit the parties needs for religious purposes. That said,
I've used their information, like all outside data it's taken with a grain
of salt until proven. I have found some inconsistencies in my families data
(non LDS)which go back to a certain contributor.
Would I, as a <pick your religion> not trust LDS because of the religious
bent of the source?? Not so, but like all data it needs to be proven (or at
least checked for consistency - argh - same file, uploaded to three
different sites, and all wrong!! Consistency is NOT a valid criteria! )
Genealogy.com is not my choice of sites - I occasionally use their free
sites, but they more irritate with the 'just a little bit for this' and 'a
little bit more for that' and .... well, you get the idea.
