Could someone please tell me how I can get copies of military records
from my grandfather's time in service (WWI and WWII), as well as my own
father's time in Korea?

Thanks!

Go to this web site for information about service records. Be prepared to wit.

If either one are still living, you'll need to get their signature on
the request form. If they're not still living, you may need to prove
death.

I was trying to get a replacement good conduct medal for my Dad as a
surprise and they wouldn't even do that without his signature!

Your best bet will be to do a Freedom of Information Act FOIA on them.
Write to the respective branch and ask them where to send it.
I will easier if you have their signatures. But you might be able to
get your GF WWI records as they are over 75 yrs old. If your
grandfather and dad are still alive you can have them sign the
release. If they aren't than you probably will be able to do it.

Good luck
Chris

Contact the nearest branch of the National Archives.
After a certain number of years they are the ones that
hold military records. http://www.archives.gov
