Showing third marriage

I know how to show a second marriage on a tree, e.g. John Smith marries
Mary Jones, and then Sara Brown

Mary Jones = John Smith = Sara Brown

but how would I show it if he then married Eliza White ?

Where I've had a first marriage that's been childless, I've put the
second one beneath it.

Mary Jones = (1) John Smith (3) = Eliza White

Sara Brown = (2)

Alternatively you could put either the second or third marriage
beneath the husband.

Mary Jones = (1) John Smith (2) = Sara Brown

(3) = Eliza White

Or you could put Eliza next to Sara; or Sara next to Mary.

Do what fits your tree best and you feel comfortable with.

Fortunately I've never had to figure out how to show four marriages,
all with children!! I have had three marriages all with children
though :))
