Re: 1930 Census -- Minnesota
Ancestry.com has the 1930 Census done, Heritage Quest(HQ) does not,
for Minnesota.
Contact your local library, mine will let you use Ancestry on-line at
the library. I get HQ thru them at home.

Re: 1930 Census -- Minnesota
Thank you. I did not know if any organization had the census online.
Local library has nothing ... nearest location is 4 hours away in any one
direction.
Again thank you

Re: 1930 Census -- Minnesota
If you ask, someone should do a lookup for you. I asked for a 1930
Census lookup and got the answer next day!
Great group of people here!
I guess the "rules" are, be gentle, Rome wasn't built in a day, and
your genealogy will NOT be finished tomorrow! Limit your requests to
one per day or so, AND only one per message, we ARE volunteers and
remember that what you find today may lead you to ask for more help
next week.

Re: 1930 Census -- Minnesota
Take a look at the Godfrey Library at http://www.Godfrey.org at
$35.00/year which may be within your budget.
They have the Heritage Quest census (plus other 'stuff') and you can
access it 24/7 from home.
You can call them and sign up on the phone by giving them your credit
card info. They give you a password/access number on the phone, which
they then follow up by mail.

Re: 1930 Census -- Minnesota
This sounds like a much more reasonable options then others I have seen
for $75-$100+ per year.
Thank you for your time

census documents. Big enough to almost read without my squinting glasses
that way. Ancestry com is a b***h and I never did get one, even after 3
or 4 trips to the library.
They also have more of the images than their content sheet shows. Did
anyhow. Their table of contents does/did not show many of the images
available so if you know the info - year, state, county, township, etc -
you can often get the image, even thought it won't pop up on a search.
Been a while since I've been on the site but it was a winner last time
there.

They are also by far the easiest to get a full sized 11 x 17 copy of the
census documents. Big enough to almost read without my squinting glasses
that way. Ancestry com is a b***h and I never did get one, even after 3
or 4 trips to the library.
